THERAPY

Whether you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), the impacts of trauma, greif or loss, addiction, relationship difficulties, or simply seeking greater self-understanding and personal growth, therapy is tailored to your individual goals and needs.

Our psychologists draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we integrate these therapies to provide treatment that is personalised, compassionate, and effective.

Above all, we believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing. By working together in a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment, we aim to help you build greater confidence, emotional wellbeing, and lasting positive change.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES

Our children and family services support the mental health, emotional wellbeing, and development of children and young people, including those navigating neurodivergence such as autism and ADHD. We work with children experiencing anxiety, big emotions, behavioural challenges, or difficulties at school, alongside families seeking to understand a new diagnosis and develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support their child.

We take a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach that helps children feel understood while equipping parents and caregivers with practical strategies they can use at home, at school, and in everyday life. Whether you’re just beginning the diagnostic journey or your child is working through emotional, social, or behavioural challenges, we aim to strengthen confidence, connection, and resilience so the whole family can thrive.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy helps partners break free from painful, repeating patterns and rebuild trust, safety, and emotional closeness. Using Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), a relationship-focused approach based on Internal Family Systems (IFS), we look beneath surface conflicts to understand the protective parts in each partner that become triggered—the parts that criticise, withdraw, become defensive, or seek reassurance—and the vulnerable feelings they are trying to protect. Through practices such as courageous communication, partners learn to speak for their parts rather than from them, expressing their inner experience with honesty, curiosity, and vulnerability instead of blame or defensiveness. As each person develops greater compassion for their own internal world, they become better able to understand their partner’s experience, creating space for deeper connection, mutual understanding, and lasting intimacy.

Internal Family Systems Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own perspective, feelings, and role in protecting us — alongside a core “Self” that is calm, curious, and compassionate. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult emotions or behaviors, IFS helps clients understand the protective intentions behind them, whether that’s a part that manages anxiety, a part that avoids conflict, or a part carrying old pain from the past. By building a relationship with these parts from a place of Self-leadership, clients can heal underlying wounds, reduce internal conflict, and develop a greater sense of wholeness and self-compassion. IFS is especially effective for anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, and self-criticism, offering a gentle, non-pathologizing path toward lasting change.

Neuroaffirming Care

Neuroaffirming care recognizes neurodivergence — including autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergent experience — as a natural variation in how people think, process, and experience the world, rather than a deficit to be corrected. We take a strengths-based approach that respects each person’s authentic way of being, moving away from masking and compliance-focused models toward genuine understanding and self-acceptance. For children and families navigating a new diagnosis, we offer support that builds capacity and skills during these early, formative stages of development, while helping parents understand and honor their child’s unique needs rather than pushing them toward neurotypical norms. Whether supporting a young child and their family early in the diagnostic journey, a late-identified adult making sense of who they are, or someone navigating burnout from years of masking, neuroaffirming care centers dignity, curiosity, and each person’s own understanding of themselves.

Women's Wellbeing

Women’s wellbeing and psychology services offer support that honors the connection between mental health and the physical and personal changes women experience across the lifespan — from menstruation and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. These transitions can bring shifts in mood, anxiety, identity, and self-esteem that are often overlooked or dismissed, leaving women feeling unheard or unsure of what’s “normal.” We take a holistic approach that considers how biological changes interact with stress, relationships, and life circumstances, helping clients make sense of what they’re experiencing and develop strategies to feel more grounded and in control. Whether navigating challenges associated with your menstrual cycle, the emotional weight of fertility struggles, becoming a mother, or the uncertainty of the menopausal transition, this work provides a space to be understood and supported at every stage of life.

ndis

NDIS

Your psychologist will be interested in getting to know you, your current supports and your NDIS related goals for capacity building. You will be provided information regarding how psychology might help to attain specific gaols and a plan to do this will be formulated together with your psychologist. Future sessions will work with this plan and progress toward your goals will be measured. A progress report for the NDIS may be part of the service to provide evidence of need for ongoing supports.
