The founder and principal psychologist at Invision Psychology, Alex Parkes, is dedicated to supporting the growth and potential of individuals from all walks of life and with all types of abilities, including NIDS participants, young people and their families, as well as adults across the lifespan.

Alex’s expertise can help with capacity building, symptom reduction, and enhancing overall quality of life for individuals facing various mental health, behavioral, and developmental challenges. These include, but are not limited to, autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, sleep disorders, behavioral issues, parenting strategies, and anger management.

Alex employs a range of behavioural, cognitive and mindful interventions including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and internal family systems therapy (IFS) informed practices.

Clients will find Alex to be friendly and supportive, attentive and knowledgeable. He engages effectively with children and teens and is unwavering in his commitment to providing an exceptional standard of service. 

Alexandra Cannizzaro

Alexandra is an expert in psychological assessment, with over 12 years of experience spanning the disability, psychiatric, corrective, and private sectors.

She is highly skilled in conducting NDIS functional capacity assessments and diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders at all life stages, such as autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and learning disorders.

Clients value Alexandra’s relatable, supportive, and person-centered approach, which fosters collaboration and ensures comfort throughout the assessment experience.

Her services are offered via telehealth, making expert psychological care accessible regardless of location.
