Support for Mental Health at Work
Work is a big part of life, and difficulties at work can affect every other area of it. Pressure, conflict, job insecurity, bullying, change, an unmanageable workload or a difficult return to work can all take a toll on wellbeing.
Our psychologists can support you to manage work-related stress, recover after a difficult experience and find a way forward that protects both your health and your career.

Build Coping and Boundary-Setting Skills: Manage pressure and protect your time and energy.
Communicate Effectively at Work: Prepare for difficult conversations and assert your needs.
Plan Your Next Steps: Whether that is staying, changing roles or planning a return to work.

What to Expect
Therapy for work-related concerns is collaborative and paced around you. It usually involves:
A Thorough Assessment: We explore what is happening at work, how it is affecting you and what outcomes you are hoping for.
A Tailored Plan: We set practical goals that reflect your values, your health and your circumstances.
Practical Skills and Support: You will learn skills to manage stress and communicate effectively, and reflect on your progress between sessions.
Reviewing Progress: We regularly check in on how things are going and adjust the approach as needed, so therapy continues to fit your goals.
How to Access the Service
To begin therapy, please get in touch with our friendly administrative team via our contact page, phone, or email address and we will send you an intake form and our information sheet and consent form to start the intake process.
You do not need a referral to book an initial appointment, however you may want to discuss your needs with your general practitioner (GP) to determine if you qualify for Medicare funding, which can cover up to ten sessions with a Mental Health Care Plan. In such cases, you would need a referral. Additionally, private health insurance rebates may be available through your provider.
