Autism is a complex condition that can be recognised in childhood or later in life, and it looks different for everyone. Some people are diagnosed early, while others do not recognise their own traits until adulthood, sometimes after a family member is diagnosed.

An autism assessment can help you or your child access a clearer understanding of your strengths and challenges, and open the door to appropriate supports at school, at work, or through the NDIS.

Our assessments draw on multiple sources of information, including clinical interviews, input from parents, teachers, or the individual themselves, direct observation, and performance-based tasks.

Benefits of an ASD Assessment

Autism can be recognised in early childhood, later in childhood, or in adulthood, and it presents differently for everyone. Assessment can be helpful for children showing differences in social communication, play, or behaviour, as well as for adults who suspect they may be autistic, including many who are diagnosed only after a family member’s diagnosis prompts them to seek their own answers.
