Alex Parkes

As the founder and principal psychologist at Invision Psychology, Alex Parkes is dedicated to supporting his clients to create meaningful change. He helps individuals strengthen their inner resources and create more harmony within themselves and in their lives and relationships.

Alex works with a wide range of mental health, behavioural, and developmental concerns, including trauma, complex mental health, anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship difficulties, autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, gender affirmation, sleep difficulties, parenting needs, and anger management.

Alex is a Level 1 Trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner and integrates IFS with other evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support clients in enhancing Self-leadership, building a more cohesive internal system, and expanding their capacity to live life to the fullest.

Clients experience Alex as warm, attentive, and thoughtful. His approach emphasises clarity, resilience, and self-compassion, and he is committed to delivering effective, person-centred care from a trauma-informed and neuroaffirming perspective.

Chloe Tregaskis

B.HumServ, GradDipPsy, GradDipAPsy & MRehabCounsel 

Chloe is a compassionate psychologist who supports individuals in navigating daily life with greater autonomy and wellbeing. She adopts a client-centred, evidence-based approach, drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). With a particular interest in trauma reprocessing, Chloe works collaboratively to reduce the impact of mental health symptoms and remove barriers to meaningful task engagement.

She brings experience across correctional settings, inpatient units, Non-government organisations, charities, and private practice, working with a wide range of clinical presentations. Chloe fosters a safe, inclusive environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered.

Shannon Tinker

BPsychSci, MPsych, MAAPi

Shannon is a psychologist dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. Her practice integrates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), allowing her to draw from multiple therapeutic approaches to support clients’ growth and healing via individual and group therapy.
 
Shannon has extensive experience working with a broad range of co-morbid and complex presentations including psychosis, personality diagnosis, forensic presentations, substance use concerns, anxiety issues, depression, and a wide range of other challenges that bring people to therapy. Her approach is grounded in warmth and compassion. Shannon is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours at their own pace. Alexandra Cannizzaro

BPsych (Hons), MAPS

Alexandra is an expert in psychological assessment, with over 12 years of experience spanning the disability, psychiatric, corrective, and private sectors.

She is highly skilled in conducting NDIS functional capacity assessments and diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders at all life stages, such as autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and learning disorders.

Clients value Alexandra’s relatable, supportive, and person-centered approach, which fosters collaboration and ensures comfort throughout the assessment experience.

Her services are offered via telehealth, making expert psychological care accessible regardless of location.
